10/08/2009 - Conference partnership with KPMG
KPMG will be an important partner of the Golf Management Conference. With more than 1,500 survey participants from three dozen countries, KPMG recently published a number of important reports on the golf business focusing on the economic value of golf, golf tourism, the cost of developing golf courses and their business performance throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMA) and further afield: the Golf Benchmark.
The Golf Benchmark is the brand name of the market intelligence studies prepared by KPMG’s Golf Advisory Practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA). The Golf Benchmark was designed to collect and share comparable golf industry benchmarks and to provide golf market analysis to the industry stakeholders, including golf course owners, operators, golf course and real estate developers, golf bodies, suppliers to the golf industry, financial institutions, and professional media representatives. The Golf Benchmark is mainly focusing on the EMA region; however, new regions are introduced each year which have been remarkably lacking market information despite their expanding golf market.
In 2008, four different researches have been performed in frame of the Golf Benchmark, in order to share golf industry knowledge.
